Back to School Night
Back-to-School Night will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 @ 6:30 PM. Kindergarten will start at 6:00 PM.
There will be a second session for parents with multiple children to visit a 2nd classroom.

Room Reps

What is a Room Rep?

Room Reps help communicate reminders for events such as class parties, and keep class parents/teachers current on PTA correspondence.

Each classroom will have two Room Reps that will work together throughout the year to plan class parties along with organizing donations for 4 class parties and 2 teacher gifts (Winter & End of Year).

Room Reps are also responsible for collecting parent/guardian contact information at the beginning of the school year.

Estimated Time Commitment:
Required attendance at 10 PTA meetings, held at 7PM in the All Purpose Room: 9/17, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/11, 4/8, 5/13, 6/10

Planning with other grade level Room Reps and teachers to create consistent class party activities.

Attendance at 4 classroom parties (10/31, 12/20, 4/16, 6/17).

Attendance on One field trip.

How do I volunteer?
If interested in volunteering for this school year, please email [email protected] by Wednesday, September 11.

Those selected will be notified before Back to School Night.

Room Reps must be members of the Alexander PTA before being selected to represent their students classroom.

Wednesday October 2 will be a full day of school.
Thursday October 3 schools will be closed for Fall Recess.
